Non-Accident No Insurance Mothers Car PA&NY

I use my mothers car in NYC and she lives in PA. The car was insured and registered in PA. I have a NY lisence. So i was driving in June and the lil 2inch by 1 inch registration sticker on my plate says 05-06 and i get pulled over because they "seen" that. I had no clue it was expired. So i went to go give him my insurance card and i look and it was expired too. So i told him it wasn't my car and my mother forgot to give me the new documents. WHich i beleaved 100%. So i was not worried at all. So i call her up and she tells me it expired 14 days ago. Also that she does not know if she has a "grace period". I have no clue about insurance at all. If i plee guilty i have to go to court and i really don't know whats going to happen. I pay my rent doin deliverys and i really can't afford losing anything. My record is 100%clean. Get the registration and insurance updated and carry proof of it to court; the judge may have mercy on you.

What EXACTLY did you recieve tickets for. (include all information, code / violation numbers)

Do you have current insurance / registration now?

You need to make sure these things are square if you are going to be using your mom's car...

I received two tickets. One for "no insurance" Code 319-1 was checked. The no regestration one is code 4011.

I contacted my mother and she said she handled it. However shes in PA and im in NY so i don't have no documents here.

The United States Postal Service works wonders now a days! Use them to get the documents!!

Thank you so much Abaga for you advice there however that is not the problem i am facing. When i was pulled over i had no insurance so my question was the penalty was for that. Ill have the documents by the time i go to court. Thanks alot thou i really appriciated it Abaga. Have a good night.....
