i live in hawaii. i would like to know if the non-custodial parent(father) has the right to know the childs physical address and telephone number even if i have given him other ways of contacting his son (po box and e-mail address). what information am i required to give him if i have sole legal and physical custody and he has reasonable visitation rights? also, what does "reasonable visitation" mean?

You might check your states statutes but I do believe if Hawaii is anything like any other state in the country, the NCP has the right and you as the CP have obligation to provide the NCP with a physical address, telephone numbers and any other pertinent information regarding the child. Just because you have sole custody does not mean that the NCP does not have the right to know the address of where his child is living or a telephone number. Failing to provide such information can be seen as contempt of court.

As for reasonable visitation most states view reasonable as 1st, 3rd and 5th weekends with rotating holidays as reasonable. Which means you have to allow him to see the child every other weekend and some months he will get two weekends in a row when there is a 5th weekend involved.

Check your orders and Hawaii's statutes but I would think that you have to give him your home phone and address, that doesn't mean he can call and come by at all hours and days but he does have the right to know where his child is living.
