What is the name of your state? Ohio (location of seller)

Hi, I bought goods on eBay in December of value $635, and three months later they have not arrived to me at my address in the UK. The seller has ceased communication with me by telephone and email, and I am now outside the period in which I can claim back my funds through Paypal buyer protection, largely because I foolishly trusted the seller when he said that customs delays have often seen items not arrive for up to 3 months. I have raised a dispute through eBay which should see me receive around $180 once the matter is closed.

Does anyone have any advice as to how I can claim back the remaining funds from this seller, bearing in mind I am based in the UK and not able to attend a small claims court myself. Many thanks!

Of course you are able to attend the court. Of course, it will cost you about 10 times what you have lost.... but you could still do it. Or you can simply accept the loss as another 'life lesson learned'... don't pay in advance for anything over the internet!!!
