What is the name of your state
What is the name of your state? Texas

I sold several items to a neighbor as I was moving from my apartment. Initially he was several hundred below my asking price. I agreed to the amount as a group sale including a Down couch I paid $2400 10 years ago, paintings, curtains rods, etc. We shook hands for $1200.00. he paid me 300 cash that night and she paid me 300 the next day or 2 from there he was supposed to pay the rest Monday. I have been chasing him and his girlfriend who has 2 chldren around for the money. the next night after the sale the girlfriend came back and requested 200 off the price for a zipper and te fluffyness of the pillow. I was outraged after making the deal and delivering the goods losing valuable time to move and just the effort of moving it all for them. At first a said I want it all back and then agreed if they paid me immediatley I would settle for 1,000.00 she wrote a cheque, the cheque was uncashable. I final chase him down for the nexted 300. they owe me 100, but because of all the headaches I want the original deal. These people have lied and have made me run around and chases them like children. I have gone to their house, given them opportunities to pay and I am told that I need to back off because I an threatening them. This is a disaster and I will not let these people get away with this. What are my options????

sue in small claims

Hopefully you have kept the $1000 uncashable check... sue them in small claims and use the check as evidence of the promise to pay.

Dude once you make an agreement you can't change your mind you say the owe you 100 dollars that is not worth the headache and all a small claims court is going to do is tell them to pay you the 100 and thats it. Consider your self lucky. I am no lawyer but this is any easy issue
