I HAVE A COURT ORDER THAT MY CHILD'S FATHER PAYS CHILD SUPPORT. HE HASN'T PAID SINCE NOV., WOULD HE BE CONSIDERED IN CONTEMPT OF COURT? WE ARE FROM LOUISIANA.

Generaly the "grace" period is thirty day's, but being in contempt without a judge saying it is like making a touchdown without the ref raising his arms. (Worthless)
If he goes the thirty days with no payment you can file a motion for contempt. Depending on the volume of cases in your area this could take 1 to 3 months for a court date.
