We are a non profit incorporated band booster organization in the state of Florida. We have applied for state tax exempt status and expect to receive approval at any time now. We are in disagreement what this means. If, for example, we purchase band uniforms for students under the tax exempt status, do students pay only the price that we paid or do we have to charge them tax because we are reselling item? We would only resell these items at cost to us; no profit. thank you.
