I recently purchased a home in Arizona that has a problem with scorpions. Before we bought the home, the seller disclosure form stated that they had no knowledge of scorpions and did not use any insecticides or pesticides on the property, or did not employ the services of an extermination company. in one of the kitchen cabinet drawers we found a receipt from an extermination company that used several pesticides around the home. They obviously lied on the disclosure form. Yes, scorpions can be a problem here in AZ, but not every home has them. Is legal action against the previous owners an option? If we knew that there was a scorpion problem, we wouldn't have bought the home, especially since we have a young child. Thank you for your help.

I didn't know there was an area in AZ that does not have "a scorpion problem."

Move to Colorado or Nebraska or Montana, if the scorpions are scaring you.

what are the dates and names on your reciept

Are the reciepts from the previous homeowner? What are the dates? Do you have scorpions now? Have you looked?. You have to sue for damages, what are your damages?. You could sue to recind the deal, getting them to pay you would be something else. Did the previous owner even live there? How old is the house? They reported "No Knowledge" maybe thats true.

A friend of mind built a $400K home in AZ. She found scorpions within 5 months of living in her beautiful new home. Yuck...

I love Mass....sans many feet(s) of snow and the occasional hurricane life is good!! No big disgusting bugs!! ;)
