florida, i was married in 1994. we purchased some property built a home lived in that home for a couple of years. i wanted out i was asked by him not to have an attorney for a divorce beacuse he would be"fair" i appeared in court without a lawyer and signed a quit claim deed to the property, and he paid me some money. balance was to be paid shortly, that was not done. i had to take him back to court and he was made to pay the bal..a few years later i found out my credit is being unfairly judged because he cannot afford to make the payments on time for the house.when he paid the bal owed me i also tried to be nice again and i gave him 5 years to sell the house or take my name off.i'm trying to refinance my home.i need to know if i can take him back to court for messing up my credit and i just found out he was not a citizen of america, he did have a green card however he lied on our marriage license and all other bank and private papers. he told me a few days ago,he just became a u.s. citizen.what can i do?? thank you

My response:

Do about what ?

1. The house mortgage conract;

2. Your credit report; or

3. Him just becoming a citizen ?

Please, get your thoughts together, and pick one main area of concern.
