My 14 year old daughter is currently in juvenile hall being charged with assault and the judge recommends that she be removed from my home. she has never been in reouble before, this is her first time. also i don't think that her attorney is doing a good job defending her. what should i do?

Pay for an attorney that will tell you what you want to hear.

Oh, and if you've got a 14 year old, then you are quite old enough to understand that life is not fair. Stop whining. It's very unattractive, especially for a woman of your age.

Your daughter needs your strength and she needs you to be a parent. That means you have to understand and be ready to accept what is best for your daughter...not what you think "isn't fair"

I rolled my eyes at the title to this thread thinking some little brat was ranting about bad parents who for one stupid reason or another isn't fair to them. I infinately more apalled to see it's a parent whining like a child.

As for advice, if you don't like a lawyer get a new one. Seems pretty obvious to me.
