What is the name of your state? California

My friend is incarcerated, he filed for a divorce back in 2002 while incarcerated. He has just found out that his divorce didn't process through the court where he filed, but his wife or ex-wife had pursued him for child support a few years back even though he is incarcerated after the said "divorce". Now that he has found out the his so called divorce didn't go through will that chance the standing of the so called request for child support??What is the name of your state?

He will still be liable for child support...he won't get rewarded for going to the pen.

Why would it? Married people can petition for child support as well especially if they are separated.

The question has already been answered so I really have nothing to add. I am just curious as to why anyone would want to admit to the world that they have chosen to be friends with criminals? Even if I did decide to have criminals for friends, I wouldn't broadcast it to the world.
