What is the name of your state? california

the father(non-custodial parent) took the children as scheduled. he is to have the children 3 weeks then bring them back for a week, and so on. he has refused to bring them back, and says he wont until late august. he lives in san jose, i live in sacramento. the court order was created in santa clara county. he has recently moved, without letting me know, and refuses to give me the new address. through caller id i managed to get his phone number, but that is all. i would like my children back, but am not sure what my options are.

thanks in advance

If you have a phone number, go to www.anywho.com and do a reverse lookup. You should be able to get the address that way. Also, here in TN, if you call information, 1411, they can give you the address if you you give them the phone number. It's worth a shot.

I've tried those websites, but the address is not correct. 411 says they update their records every 6-8 weeks. Thanks though.

If you can't find it there , which that is a really good search site, there are other ones too.. you're bound to find it somewhere. Also I would call the magistrate or DA where you live and tell them what's going on. They may tell you to call the police, magistrate, or DA where he lives. Tell them what's going on because they may be able to tell you what to do to get them back. If you want to you could probably also file a contempt charge or whatever you call it with the court for violating a court order, he is in contempt right now..so let them know that too when you call. Good Luck.
