Me, my girlfriend, and her father were working for a guy doing drywall finish in an apartment. I quit working for my girl's father, so I decided to do the next floor of the apartment on my own. My girlfriend informed the guy who hired us, that I was doing that floor on my own. My girl's father quits a different job working for that guy, and then this job after he gets paid in full for it. My girlfriend finishes here fathers apartment to make sure the guy doesn't pay me for unpaid work, however, the other job that was abandon by her father is not completed. Now my girlfriend's father owes the guy like 3000.00, and that guy is going to take my 2000.00 from me to pay for my girlfriend's father's det. I think this is unfair, because I was working on my apartment floor on my own, and was not associated with my girl's father. However, the guy doesn't care, since he knows we all worked together, he is just going to take it out my pay, since he can't take it out of my girls father's pay.

To top it all off, the guy pays cash, under the table, and have over 60 illegal aliens working for him.

What can I do, what can I sue for breech of etc..

Sexual Discrimination

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Florida:

Me and my girlfriend work in construction, and we were going to a new job. It was a 52 floor building, and when we went in, they told her there are no girls allowed to work here. We are only drywall finishers, and I disagree with what they said. To add insult to injury, there already was girls working at the job, and still are. Since she was not allowed to work, she remains jobless, and is not trying to find a job while her bills are becoming late. Can my girlfriend pursuit legal action.

No we had to written agreement, just an oral understanding. The general contractor who we worked with, knows we did the job, and will verify that we are the ones who did the job.
