if it is court ordered then your ex is in contempt for denying you visitation with your child. how many times since your court order have you had your actual visitation with your child? what does the court order list as your visitation guidelines?

ohio, thanks for the reply lisa.my court order states that i am to have my daughter 1 day through the mid week and every other weekend.currintly the way we have been doing it due to the differances in our work hours i have been getting her every weekend and whenever she needed me to help her out in witch i never had a problem with it.But now she is being ....well not very cool with it all..this hasent been a problem till the last few weeks and i dont know what to do seeings how as we both have not been following the Legit court order due to trying to help eachother out..but now its a problem.and its been 3 weeks since i have heard from or seen my daughter.im going back to the way it was set up to begin with.but how do i get her to comply with it?

Bryan47- you can go one of two ways. One you can go back through the courts and file a contempt motion because your ex has been denying you visitation or you can just speak with your ex and tell her that you would like to go back to the Legit Court Order. You could also try and modify the original Court Order to show what you all are doing right now. Why is she all of the sudden not letting you see your child when you all have been doing so well in the past?

Bryan47-Sorry for not responding so quickly yesterday. Is there anything in your court order that says that you should not have a member of the opposite sex for overnight when the child is in your care? If so, then she is breaking another part of the order. What kind of problems are dwelling if you don't mind my asking? How long have you and your ex been divorced? by the way, my ex has custody of our children. He moved out of state and I have only seen our children twice since they started school.
