I was involved in a case in Gadsden, Alabama where I found out when my case was dismissed that even if I had went to trial they would have not had the evidence. I had found out that they turned over the evidence to the person who said it was theirs.
They had not proven it was theirs but the county dectetive gave it to them a few weeks after it was taken from me. So even if I had went to court I wouldn't have had the evidence to prove it was my merchandise not hers. All in all they gave my stuff away without proof. There had been no police report all they had was my soon to be ex-husband and a person who wanted something free no matter what she had to do to get it. So is this legal for them to give my stuff (which was being held supposedly) for trial to someone who couldn't prove it was hers? Even before the trial took place 5 years later?
