What is the name of your state? TX

I am writing on behalf of my sister. Her daughter (about to turn 13) has apparently been complaining to her stepmother about having to change her plans all the time to visit her mother (my sister). My sister does not want to force her, but does not want to miss a lot of her time either. Are there any suggestions? Keeping in mind that her ex-husband is not always the most accomodating individual.

tThanks so much!

What's the current schedule?

Kiddo shouldn't have to 'change plans' to see her mother. She shouldn't be MAKING plans on Mom's time w/out consulting Mom... and she's well past old enough to understand that.
