Sept 1st 2018 was cited for running a Stop sign. I plead guilty in court.. they didn't have my citation and said one would be mailed. But none came in. Called the court they said none was received.

Am I liable for not paying even thought I have nothing to pay?

Is there a possibility I won't be sent one?

Things like this make me nervous. I don't want arrested for FTA or something when I'm just trying to do what needs to be done.

I have never been in trouble before so this is all new to me and it worries me.

If you were handed a citation when you were pulled over, it'll be in the system sooner or later. Make a photocopy of yours and revisit the courthouse and show it to the clerk and see what they can find. Don't part with your original. Things might have gotten delayed due to the holiday but don't let this slide. You are right to be worried. I have read plenty of horror stories about things like this. Keep following up until it gets resolved.

Obviously you were charged somehow and you pleaded guilty in court so yes, you are liable for the fine.

What exactly are you supposed to be mailed? Why didn't you pay your fine in court?
