I was married about 10 years ago for a total of like 1 week.
We decided to get an annulment. THe man I was married to
said he paid for the annulment. I never saw any papers or
remember signing anything. My question is, could I go to the
court house and ask for documents that the marriage was
actually annulled since I can't be 100% sure that it really was?

My response:

Of course you can. You needed someone on the Internet to give you permission? Okay, you have my permission. Go to the courthouse.

Why has it never occured to you sooner to question this? It's been 10 years!!! IF your husband didn't actually file the annulment it could have now become a huge mess for you. My understand would be that if the annulment wasn't done then that you would now have to do a divorce, and we all know how expensive that can be. IAAL would be able to give better answers about that, but I just can't understand WHY you have waited 10 years???
