What is the name of your state? Ohio, KY jurisdiction
Quick recap: I have sole custody of 11 y/o who now sometimes wants to live with dad, sometimes with me. Dad is taking me to court suing for custody and using the fact that I'm in recovery (drug addiction) against me. I am 10 months clean, working the program to the best of my ability, attending NA meetings, in rehab, have a sponsor, etc.....court got continued to 3/25.
I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum to post this, but here goes. It seems as if the ncp and his wife are getting desperate. The wife has written a letter to my drug court judge claiming that I have threatened to kill her and she fears for her life, yada yada, and asked the judge to take appropriate action against me....drug court is in ohio...custody is in kentucky...so basically she's trying to get me in trouble so that I won't be there on the 25th. Yeah, I know this sounds like a soap opera, but no exaggeration on my part!
Of course my judge in Ohio said that she put 2 and 2 together once she read the letter, and advised me to stay far FAR away from these people as humanly possible.
Any advice, other than what the judge gave? I mean, I am in total shock here!! Can/Should I bring this up in family court that this is what they're lowering themselves to??
TIA
