Tuscola, IL: I am not yet divorced. the mother can not support the 3 kids with the food and things they need. i have them 5 out of the 7 days a week. she doesnt have a stable home like i do. DCFS has been called in on her twice and all they have done is marked it as unfounded. is their a way that i can have temporay custody of them till the divorse is final so that i could get the medical card and link card taken out of her name and into mine so that i could have it for the kids and transfor them to a different school since when their mother when to jail for robery they have no friends and are not respected because their parts dont want them around my kids.

are there any temporary orders? Oh and DCFS is not just called on her. If you are the other parent, DCFS will involve you just as much. The findings are regarding the condition of the children -- NOT who is responsible or "guilty".

If the investigation into the call has been deemed as unfounded, what are your concerns?

Please explain the bolded. If your statement is that the mother cannot support the kids with food and the things that are needed, what are you as the father doing about it? The bolded statement says to me that you are unable by yourself to support them as well. I am not making a statement that there is anything wrong with assistance, but you are contradicting yourself, making it sound as if you are able to support the children and she is not.
