What is the name of your state? california
divorce was granted in ky. no verification was submitted to judge (income tax statement,w2's from employers check stubs, etc.) pertaining to my earnings. how was it possible for any amount of child support to be determined by judge ? wife and her lawyer knew i was collecting disability payments from workers comp. would this be considered perjury and if so what now ?

Q: how was it possible for any amount of child support to be determined by judge ?

A: Because of your refusal to co-operate the court had to impute income to you, meaning the judge assumed you were making minimum wage at forty hours per week.

Q: wife and her lawyer knew i was collecting disability payments from workers comp. would this be considered perjury and if so what now ?

A: No, you haven't committed perjury; the child support will be deducted from your disability payments.

thanks for your answer , if i may explain futher - - i was out of state when it went before the court , wife's lawyer kept me up to date via mail yet i was never asked to send any verification of earnings. i have optained copy of papers her lawyer submitted from the clerk of court in ky. they ( wife and her lawyer ) wrote down false amount for my earnings (way over minimum wage @ 40 hrs. a week )even though they were well aware i was disabled and on workers comp. my question about perjury is directed to how they intentionally gave the court incorrect data.
i appreciate whatever advice you may have .

take care and enjoy the day

There is nothinig to more to explain. Why in the world would you listen to what your ex's attorney tells you?! You are the OPPOSING PARTY! That's like a football team telling their opponent how they're going to score a touchdown on the upcoming play. Obviously you didn't have a lawyer and now you are paying for your failure to cooperate and ignorance of processes of the court of law.

Why were you out of town on the date of the hearing? You were given notice, so you decided not to show up? Ever hear of a "continuance"?

You were required to submit financial documents and you failed to do so. THere is no "perjury" -- PERIOD!

You can certainly appeal it if the window to do so is still open. But don't be surprised if your appeal is denied based on your actions.
