indiana/well in the papers it states to notify the cp of dates by may 1st,so im asking ,he didnt send me a letter till may25th,do i still have to send the child [out of state]2ys.old,when he arrives like he says he is still going to do,and he says [i better] have the child there and ready!!!

i know ive got advice to send a letter,i told him its in the mail,he is still onsisting he's picking the child up,i dont want a seen,nor i dont want to look over my shoulder either,when coming & going from my home,or sitting in the yard with the relatives and kids,,,
he is saying im dening him visits,he has not tried to exercise,and this one is a late notice,

It's vital that you work with him regarding the visitation. Yes, he was late in giving you his dates. But is it really worth causing a big fuss over this if you really don't have big plans made? You have to give a little and take a little. Pick your battles.

yes, he didn't make his plans by the required time and he should have. but he is attempting to see his child now - and if you don't have something else already established - then you should allow him his visitation time.

you aren't "technically" denying him his visitation, but you are making his relationship with the child difficult to establish and maintain. he could build all of this up and present a case to the judge for it.

the child is just 3 - he deserves to see his father and to get to know his father. if you are having problems with this now, they are only going to get bigger over the next 15 years.

lawyers get expensive and going back and forth to court over "little" squabbles will eventually wear on the nerves of the judge.
