What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Florida

I had requested some information on appearing at the PreTrail, one of my questions was about requesting from the Collection Agency a Debt Validation, the answers that I received were from:

*You should have done that by now,
*It's to late now. etc.., but truthfully nothing constructive.

I just would like to say that I consider this type of website very helpful for folks like myself who have a serious problem, are a little confused, are looking for answers, but are not stupid and I would only hope that people who contribute information have some idea of what they are talking about and not just add their voices for the sake of ingratiating themselves at the cost of others...

all of the information provided was incorrect for the state of Florida, Broward County.

When I appeared before the judge, requested a Debt Valdidation because Iwas not sure I owed the amount stated, the judge asked the attorney to present proof of debt as evidence, the Attorney (collection agent) didn't have the information which is usually normal for a third party collection...The case has been put off for 45 days. In my original request for info, I stated that I want to hold off any action for 30 days.... and that is what I got...

Again, I do have respect others who understand how serious this is to folks looking for help, thank them for contributing to this website and have great respect for them.

Thank you...

Franklin407, as one of the posters from your past questions. I inadvertantly *presumed* that you knew the process for debt validation. I apologize for that assumption. For future reference would you like to know how to go about that?
In the original response to your first post I do recall asking you some questions that went unanswered. Sometimes a question is asked to gather a better perspective of how best to respond specifically.
It was good to read they post-poned the trial and allowed you time to get proper legal advise. This site is a resource for legal information, not to be construed as Legal counsel. It even helps sometimes to use the search feature for past postings. Just some ideas to pass your way. :)
