Hello, my car was reposessed in Utah Dec of 2000. I received a notice that it would be sold and heard nothing further. Now, a year and a half later (May 2002) I contacted them to have it cleared from my credit report. They said I still owe 5,000 dollars! They admitted to never notifying me, isn't there a time limit here? Shouldn't they have told me when it was sold and for how much?
