What is the name of your state? Mi
I am one party in a contract dispute. The other party lives in another state. We had no written agreement as to where any legal conflicts would be heard. My attorney sent the other party a demand letter threatening suit. The other party immediately filed suit IN HIS STATE and now he controls the forum.

This is a devastating blow to my ability to handle this dispute.

Does this qualify as malpractice on the part of my attorney?
