Now they $1300 Instead of $300 Am I going to court!!!

Help they klandlord said 1300 more b/c he says he does not feel like i will pay the $300. I read the Missouri Statues about the amt. of time for written damages . He said that was not so and he has talked to a att. What to do? The house was on sell so I blieve he is trying to upgrade the house at my expence.....

I think they will send me the list post date the paper. How do I protect myself from that?

Did you have a lease?Did it expire?

did he eveict you properly with a 30 day notice?

Did you take pictures?

Yes I had a lease and yes I have a 30 day notice I mailed it the end of October and no I did not take pictures.He has not gave me written notice for anything that my sec.dep. went to they just call and say pay this or i am sueing.I di read the Missouri Statues and it saids they had 30days to inform me in writting about my deposit.So I hope that shuts them up........

Well the landlord is going to have to prove in front of a judge that they actually spent the money.....

YOU make sure that they have all the canceled CHECKS in court..... reciepts can be forged.

and if they dont have pictures well challenge that too...
