What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? VIRGINIA

MY FATHER WHO IS IN THE LAST STAGES OF PARKINSONS DISEASE PREVIOUSLY TRANSFERED TITLE OF HIS OLD HOUSE TO ME BECAUSE I AM THE SOLE CARETAKER OF HIM. I HAVE BEEN PAYING THE TAXES ON IT AND ALSO PAYING FOR ALL REPAIRS TO IT. NOW THAT HIS CONDITION REQUIRES HIM TO GO INTO A PUBLIC NURSING HOME I AM TOLD THAT IN VIRGINIA. THERE CAN BE NOW REAL ESTATE TRANSFER IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS OR THE NURSING HOME WILL NOT TAKE HIM. WE ARE TRYING TO GET HIM ON MEDICAID TO HELP TO ADMITTING HIM TO A NURSING HOME AND I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. WHAT IS THE LAW THAT STATES THAT HE CANNOT TRANSFER HIS HOUSE TO MY NAME AND GET MEDIAID TO ENTER A NURSING HOME? PLEASE HELP RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE HIS CONDITION IS CRITICAL AND PROGRESSING QUICKLY. THANKS !:confused:What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
