What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia

Hello,

Is it required by law for a public university dining service to make public nutritional information? At the university I attend, I am positive the food contains huge amounts of trans-fat. I approached the head of the dining services and requested nutritional information showing trans-fat information. He refused to show me.

There are nutritional facts online for my university, but they contain only a portion of the food items used and no trans-fat information is mentioned.

Is it legal for them to hide this information?

They're under no obligation in Virginia to compute nutritional facts for you, nor are they required to provide you healthy meal choices.
