What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? pennsylvania

ok so a teacher's iphone got stolen in school. wanting to help out, i gave some false information to the police. i said that i might know someone who had it. they called me down and i said that i talked to his mom to confirm that it was his when i really didnt. they say they are going to call me down again before they call down the guy who's name i gave. how can i get myself out of this situation?

I can't make this any simpler. Do not talk to the police. You can't possibly get in any more trouble by not talking.
