What is the name of your state? PA

I am an education major at a PA univerisity with an underage drinking citation on my record. I have done research, and have learned that a teaching certificate can not be denied because of a summary offense such as this, but school districts can still withold employment if they choose to do so. I was wondering if most school districts look into driving records (where the offense is listed), and if so, if they hold a big part in the hiring process? I have a high GPA and am in many extracurriculars. I also have experience as a camp counselor and have excellent references. I guess my question is, will they turn me away right off the bat because of my driving record?

I know how this sounds, and it is very irresponsible of me. So I would appreciate if there were no condescending replies to my post. I am simply asking for advice. I do not plan on touching alcohol until my 21st birthday. I am a very capable person and I know I will be an amazing educator.

Of course they do.
