What is the name of your state? NC

Just wondering what happens if you were up to date on your car payments- filed bankrupcty, and then didn't pay for two months, but picked back up on the 3rd month- but before your case was discharged.
Do they come repo the car, or what?

Well it WAS current. I was just wondering what happens if you do not pay for two months after filing, but pay on the third month.. just the regular amount, not backpaying for the two missed months.

Well, expect the lender to start trying to collect those missing payments.
They sure can repo if the apply for relief from stay. If you wish to keep the car, you need to make some payment arrangemnts.

I wasn't implying you were trying to jip them out of anything.
Just saying, you need to touch base with them and see what they can do?
Have you considered a 722 redemption if you're upside down?

Oh, I wasn't getting feisty. I just didn't want anyone to think I was just trying to be slick, and get out of paying altogether.
I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaay upside down, but I've never even heard of 722 redemption.

If you're way upside down, you really need to question the wisdom of trying to keep the vechicle. All the car will do is depreciate further.
Maybe let it go and get a cheaper ride?

Then there's the issue of what to do in the meantime. No money for downpayment. Without a car- I won't be able to get to work.
