I bought a Blazer from a car dealer 3 1/2 years ago. My husband and I just went to trade the car in on a new car and found out that the Blazer's odometer had been tampered with. We bought the car with 20,000 miles on it, when it had at least 100,000 miles. I was told that the statute of limitations with criminal court is 18 months, so the state of Illinois won't investigate! Is it too late to take the dealer to court?
