What is the name of your state? Michigan

This is not a Lemon Law related question by any means....I'm buying an 03 CRV LX with 24,000 miles on it in PERFECT cond. by a private owner. They're asking $16,650 (which they said they'd go down on), KBB is like $16,350. I just don't know the appropriate offer to make. I'd really like to offer $15,000 for it (and I'd go up to $16,000 if I had to), just because I would want to get the best deal I can. Yet, I don't want to offend them by such a low offer. Is it standard to offer that much below KBB price?

If it's not lemon law related why are you posting it here?

Only you can figure out how much you want to pay for the car.
