What is the name of your state?Minnesota- Our vehicle was seized from our property during our still unsettled civil case against owner of repair shop who did repairs to our vehicle without authorization. There are no recorded liens, judgements or orders authorizing officers seizure, not only did officers seize our vehicle right out of our driveway while we were not home, they had it towed to the repair shop owner we are in this civil dispute with! By the way shop owner PAID THE TOWING! Our rights have been violated and the county attorney and sheriffs department will not comply when asked them to show their legal reasons for taking our vehicle, I was told by an attorney to call our vehicle in stolen, which I did only to be transferred three times right to the one of the officers involved, he refused my complaint, attempted contacting the sheriff for three days, as VERY rude dispatcher sheilded him from our NUMEROUS calls (have phone records) with excuse after excuse why he was unavailable. We need a lawyer who will aggresively take this case and help stop these crooked cops from violating peoples rights. ANY helpful input please.
