oh & fed tax law. what forms need to be filed out in order to file taxes (not previously filed) from 1999? are there additional fines if the gov't owes you money? are there any excusable reasons for not filing? basicaly what concequences may occur for not filing from a previous year?

Late returns

File the Ohio and Federal forms for the year 1999. The following link will take you to the federal forms for that year: http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/forms_pubs/formpub99.html. The following link will get you the Ohio forms: http://www.state.oh.us/tax/Individual/PY_IT_Forms/1999_it1040.pdf.

If you were required to file a federal return because of your gross income, it is possible that there will be a late filing penalty of $100. The penalty for not filing the Ohio return, if you were required to file it, could be as large as $50 per month late, not to exceed $500.
