Ohio. I filed bankruptcy while my house was in foreclosure, thus pausing the foreclosure. The bankruptcy has discharged already, but the foreclosure is now on hold because my ex is waiting for discharge. The house was damaged and the city is now trying to fine me for a zoning issue (the masonry on the porch caused it to fall in). They are saying that even though I filed bankruptcy, I'm still liable for this because the foreclosure wasn't completed. Is this true?

Yes, and please post each question only once.

You are the owner until the foreclosure sale happens. You're responsible for the upkeep, taxes, etc..
