What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

Just was wondering what the law in ohio is regarding videotaping minors without parental consent. I live in a apartment complex and there is a park where my kids play and my neighbor is always video taping my kids for no apparent reason at the park. I have asked her multiple times to not do this but she continues to do it. Its creeping the kids out and starting to irritate me. What can I legally do about this.

Did you report this to the LL? (assuming that the neighbor is living in the same complex. )

Did the woman say WHY she is filming in the park?

In addition to Blue Meanie's suggestion, you can also report any suspicious behavior to the police.

Videotaping people in a public place is (with rare exceptions) legal. It is generally what one does with the videotapes after the filming that can be illegal.

That said, if you have already told the woman to stop filming and she hasn't, a call to the police - and the subsequent questioning of the woman by the police - can perhaps intimidate her into stopping the filming of your children.

Maybe the woman wants to know who is throwing the balls (rocks, whatever) through her window from the playground.
