My husband cosigned for a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle. We have found out the other man has a dual identity and the one he used is false. Anyone know what rights my husband has referencing the loan? The bank failed to identify the other man with the social security number.

My response:

The bigger questions are what is your husband doing co-signing a loan, and what's he doing co-signing a loan for someone whom he obviously barely knows?
