What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? PA

I work as a hairstylist and recently changed salons. My old boss sent out letters to my clients which states " your stylist left because she no longer believes in our standards, i.e. education and customer service." Which was totally not the reason i left. She was the reason I left that salon. She also wrote on my last paycheck that I stole from her and took money out of my last check. Should I sue?

This is a question, not a rebuttal.

What damages have you suffered because of these letters?

Edited to include:

Sorry, I missed the last part of your question. You can file a wage claim with the Department of Labor and Industry re: the unauthorized deduction. But her writing that on your check does not give you a slander claim.
