What is the name of your state? TN
A few years ago I had a default judgement issued against me for breach of contract - I was young and stupid and never bothered to respond. The amount they ggot the judgement for was incorrect. Can I dispute this now? I haven't heard anything from them since they got the judgement so should I just keep quiet. Most importantly, last year my fiance (now my wife) and I purchased a house. Both our names are on the title, but just hers is on the mortgage. Can they attach a lien to the house, and if so do they have to notify or is it automatically attached because of the judgement? Thanks!
