Question: is old rule 35 (a) of Fed R Crim P in the version prior to SRA of Aug 1, 1987 still available for a defendant when he got sentenced by a district court in 1988 and having hold unconstitutional federal sentencing guidelines although crime was comitted after Aug 1, 1987 (law of the case doctrine)?
