i live in new jersey. my wife has worked at a diner for 5 years. over the time she has been sexually harassed by co-workers and customers. when brought to the attention of the owners, they do nothing. this all came to a head today 6/4 when she went to work. she was running alittle late and followed all the procedures they require, ie. call in and a manager know. when she got there, the owner, who was not relayed the message proceded to yell, belittle, berate, and humiliate my wife in front of co-workers and customers. my wife was so humiliated and upset that she left work in tears. i want to know form a legal standpoint, was my wife harassed as it pertains to the laws?
