What is the name of your state? Nh

Hi all :)

Here is my previous main thread so I don't have to bore by going through the whole story again.

https://forum.freeadvice.com/showthread.php?t=393644&highlight=SnS76

As stated there, we went back to court yesterday. Since my last post, Dad still hasn't seen the children and still has not met with the GAL. As expected, she has stated to my attorney and myself that she believes it would be in the children's best interest for the new parenting plan to be allowed and also she wanted another stipulation added on that Dad would have to at least speak with their counselors before contact. She feels that the children are in alot of turmoil over this and because of the no contact, it needs to be gone about the right way.

So, we're all prepared to go back in yesterday, with the support of the GAL and get a new parenting plan in place. Dad has yet again failed to submit any of the papers he was supposed to and to even comply with a disclosure request.

We get in front of the Master and for the first time, the Master actually 'scolds' Dad a little bit about why he has failed to keep his appointments with the GAL ..and even more so when the excuses Dad presented were basically that he was very busy and had alot going on. The Master did tell him that he could make excuses until he was blue in the face, but the fact was he still did not do what he had to do.

I almost felt at that point that maybe the Master had finally seen through the act Dad likes to put on when we're in the courtroom.

We were asked again if Dad had been using the current parenting plan that has been in place since Dec and was made aware that he hasn't. The GAL, while unable to give a full report because of not being able to meet with Dad, did give some input on what she feels would be in the best interest of the children at this point.

And then Dad started again with the fact that he wanted a paternity test. The Master questioned him on this, wondering why he kept bringing it up. Dad went on to say that he believed that our youngest wasn't his. Of course, he went into a story about that, but that was the end result.

The GAL's response to that was she believed it would absolutely crush my daughter if she had to go through a test and knew what it was for.

To make a long story short, I once again, left that courtroom totally dumbfounded.
The Master continued this until June 10th, and requested that the GAL get in touch with my daughter's counselor and see what kind of impact this would have on her .. ??????

I am just not understanding this. I'm not getting why it is taking so much for this Master to see that Dad just doesnt have the interest ..or the 'time' to follow through on anything.

Is this just how the family courts go ? do they usually keep giving chance after chance for a person to mess up, while my childrens' lives stay in turmoil over wondering where Dad is and why he's not visiting ?

I feel at this point if the children knew, then they could move on. I know this is not something they could ever totally get over, but maybe be something they could accept and try to move past if things were just settled. The GAL actually stated that she wants to work with my daughter's counselor to kind of edge towards letting her know that Dad has been able to see her since Dec and hasn't. She says that it's not fair to me to have to take the blame for that, although I have been more than willing to allow the children to believe that instead of the fact that their Dad just can't be bothered, and even more so now that he's claiming that he doesn't even believe he is her Father. She, honestly, is the only one that still believes Dad is the greatest person in the world. It would devastate her either way.

Does anyone have any advice on what i could do next ? The GAL that was appointed to our case is really great and I feel she actually IS looking out for their best interest. She was disgusted as well as we left the courthouse yesterday.

I'm just unsure what my next step should be to try and get this whole mess done with for them.

Thanks :)What is the name of your state?
