What is the name of your state? OH

Okay, one last question for all of you that have been so helpful to me. I was reading another post and this issue came up and I wanted to ask a question about it. My boyfriend and I live together and are on a mortgage together. He makes about $65,000 a year after bonuses and such (he is in sales). He has NEVER helped me pay my bills and we split our utilities and mortgage 50/50. I write him a check every month for mortgage and a seperate one for utilites and I have kept all of our last few months bills so it would be easy to prove if necessary that we split the bills. Even though he makes about $22,000 more per ear than me he still has not helped me with anything....other than paying for us to go out for a meal or to the movies and such. He has his own bills (credit card, student loans, etc.) that take up his money so he couldn't help me if he wanted to. Can the trustee include his income and bills when reviewing my case? My attorney told me months ago when I first looke dinto BK Chap7 that since we were not married it would not be an issue but then someone on these boards said that the trustee can do it. If it does come up and I am honest saying that he does pick up some meals and entertainment that I can't afford will it just be dropped.

any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Man, I can't wait until I file next week, have my 341 meeting, and then this is discharged an over...

A trustee may ask anything they like. That does not mean there's problem. If they have a question about your expenses vs income they've the right to ask for some clarification.
Heck, I've seen people dead broke with no job wanting to keep a house or an auto and the trustee ask how are you paying for it and it turns out Mom and Dad are paying the mortgage.
Nothing wrong with that-just clarification. If your lawyer is not worried, you shouldn't be worried.

Well, my expenses (which are the truth) show that I still am short funds each month so I am not worried about that. I guess if they ask me something about his income or how I do laundry (for example) then I just follow the underlying rule of bankruptcy which is TELL THE TRUTH...and I should have no problems.
