What is the name of your state? AL but MS jurisdiction

My stepdaughter is supposed to be with her mother for Thanksgiving this year. She called her mom last night to check on her little brother who had been very sick. Her mother told that she wasn't going to see her for Thanksgiving because she is taking her two other children to Disney World and that she hadn't planned on asking her dad if she could go, and that my stepdaughter wasn't going to be seeing her little brother (he is 2) until he's old enough to deal with everything. She said she wasn't going to let my stepdaughter "do to him what she did last summer". For those of you who haven't read my previous posts, my stepdaughter had to testify in court in July against her mother and stepfather. She did nothing to the child, so we have no idea what that means.

My question is, it's obvious that the mother does not want her daughter to come back to her house. Her attorney has quit. She won't return my husband's phone calls. She has not exercised visitation since September 15. This is all documented. Should my husband ask his attorney to offer her a proposal to settle all this so we don't have to go back to court on December 1st?

Why didn't you add this to the previous thread, instead of starting a new one that reference's the previous thread?
