What is the name of your state?mississippi

I have bid on several cards on an online auction. After bidding I read and found out the seller has recently refused to sell cards to the the highest bidders at the end of the auction. Although the seller had no reserve on the cards at the conclusion of the auction he decided the closing bid was not enough an refused the payment form the buyer. Is the legal? If I end up in the same boat do I have legal recourse, I really want what I am bidding on!

Without a reserve price,
I believe the seller is obligated by E bay standards to sell the item to the highest bidder. Read "Seller Non-Performance" in E bay's guidlines. Hope this helps.
