Online Electronic Purchase

I made a major purchase online from a electronic store. When i when to check out the price was under $100. I completed the order and received a confirmation number. I called the customer service for this company and they told me that this purchase was voided because there was a price error on the website. I checked with my bank and the company had put a hold on my credit card for the amount but now the electronic store don't want to deliver my product. Are the laws for internet purchase the same as going into a store?

Did you check their Terms and Conditions, most of the time they protect themselves from such incidents, besides, do you really want to force someone to lose money for an honest mistake? If you do, I feel real sorry for you.

No retailer, whether online or in a brick and mortar store is obligated to sell an item if the price is mismarked. Any sales agreements are not considered complete until the exchange of funds for merchandise has been completed. You do not have a case, drop it.

hmmmm i had a simular situation a few weeks ago. can i ask what retailer this is. im my situation they took the creditcard and sent me the receipt. so one of 2 things have to happen they have to sell me item for said price they promised. or the have to pay me the difference in the price. they now want me to pay. and for all who disagree. in my state thats the law im not on here to debait it.
