Purchased a pair of high end stereo tube amplifiers to be assembled by a 20 year very reputable do-it-yourself online seller in March 2007. I waited several months while seller stalled me with excuses long enough that Visa and Paypal now refuse to address the issue. Last contact with seller was in July, and seller has moved to another state during this time-frame.

His web-site is still open, but contact info is not available. He was based in Colorado when I purchased the amps. I have gotten his current mailing address in Oklahoma from a hi-fi forum (he still sells some small modification services and D.I.Y. kits and also has listed numerous items on his "dumpster" page - he has updated said page as recently as last week). The current mailing address is for a UPS packing store but for an online seller I don't find this to be suspicious. He used a UPS store for many years while he was in Colorado too.

I think a small claims option would work for me but not having a formal hard address I don't know if a UPS store is sufficient as an address for starting a claim. The amount is $2,031.50 and I am now coming up on the one year anniversary of paying him. He refuses to return all e-mails from me and I have tried leaving a message at a phone number I suspect is his with no success.

Any options? Thank you in advance for your assistance!
