I have a list of clients that are looking for properties in various states. I want to start a referring these clients to sellers in various states. I know as an individual, you must be licensed to earn referral fees. But as a business entity, are there real estate licensing restrictions for earning a referral fee? Is it OK for the business to charge sellers on a transaction and consider it service fee rather than referral fee?
