Question 1:
I have a new On-line website created and have members who want to send a donation to help defer the cost of operation. Are there any legal issues with me accepting this?

Question 2:
I wanted to create t-shirts with the society website logo for members to purchase. Is there any type of vendor license or tax issues I need to be aware of? I'm not doing it to make a profit, but as a service to the members. I'll probably break even on the cost.

Thanks

As long as you don't misrepresent that you are some sort of charity I don't see why not. Depending on how much you take in, you probably will have to report it on your taxes, but you won't have any tax if there is no profit.

What "society logo" are you talking about. Once you start selling things you probably are going to need to collect sales tax and obtain a vendors license from your county. Info on tax.ohio.gov
