What is the name of your state? CA

I was online today and found a killer deal on an item I wanted. It was seriously below retail. I placed an order for the items I wanted and received a confirmation of my order. I later recieve another confirmation of my order but the prices had been increased to standard retail...i.e. my order jumped from $110 to $440. I assume I can cancel this order, item is backordered right now but I am wondering if they have an obligation to meet the listed price of $39.59 vs. the $199.99 they are attmepting to charge me now?

So far I ave been unable to reach them via phone and they have not responded to my e-mail. I plan to contact them again on the 7th.

Have they already charged you for the items? I'm assuming you gave them a credit card #. Do you have a printout of the web page with the lower price on it? And do you have the original email saved with the lower price?

I did print a copy of the original confirmation and it specifically shows the original pricing. I still have the page open with the original confirmation as well.

I would continue to try and get in touch with them to see what they have to say about it. If you do end up getting charged the higher price, dispute the charges with your credit card company. Make sure to print everything out (including the window that's still open). I'd take a screenshot of that too and save it as a soft copy on your computer.
